About Girl Guiding
Guiding is an educational youth Movement. It is for all girls worldwide regardless of creed, race, nationality or any other circumstance. 
Quoting Lady Baden-Powell, World Chief Guide and wife of our Founder: “In a world fraught with uncertainty and fear, our Movement shines out as a golden chain against a dark background. The links in the chain are forged out of the finest gold, our Promise and Law.”
Guiding is a game of adventure, observation, knowledge and ideas. It educates on life skills that will encourage each girl to strive to be a responsible citizen and to lead a useful life. It does not compete with what parents, school, religion and other youth organizations are doing but complements them.
